What is the Sumo Deadlift – Banded?

The Sumo Deadlift – Banded is a version of the sumo deadlift. It is an exercise used to strengthen the entire posterior chain including the hamstrings, back, calves, glutes, and traps. Resistance is accommodated by the band used when carrying out banded sumo deadlifts. This means that during the exercises, the closest one gets to a complete contraction, the more stress is put on the targeted muscle groups.
