This is a amazing cardiovascular session that I have tweaked from elite strength and conditioning coach James Knight. James has vasty experience in professional sport with the Newport Gwent Dragons and is now owner of the 'JK Ladies Health and Fitness Retreat'. The session was specifically designed for elite rugby players to test thier match fitness. I have tweaked the plan to make it even more intense and gruelling so that it will challenge even the most advanced gym athletes. You can perform the session at a slower speed if you need to and still get the same benefits.

Warm up: 5 mins

1 minute @ 10 KPH

1 minute @ 11 KPH

1 minute @ 12 KPH

2 minutes @ 13 KPH

STRETCH

1 x 2 minutes on 1 minute off @ 16 KPH

2 x 1 minute on 30 seconds off @ 18 KPH

1 x 45 seconds on 30 seconds off @ 19 KPH

1 x 1.30 minutes on 1 minute off @ 17 KPH

1 x 2 minutes on 1 minute off @ 16 KPH

3 x 30 seconds on 30 seconds off @ 21 KPH

2 x 1 minute on 30 seconds off @ 18 KPH
