Nearly two weeks ago in Los Angeles, Ryan Fischer was shot four times and left for dead.
Ryan is a celebrity dog walker, and on this particular evening he was out walking the dogs of Lady Gaga.
Not only was Ryan left in a pool of his own blood as he tried to fight back against his attackers, but Gaga’s three french bulldogs were also stolen.
The dogs were bundled into a car with one escaping while the two others were well on their way to being sold on the back streets of LA.
The news of this horrendous incident soon spread across the world, and Lady Gaga was quick to make a statement.
She came out and offered a whopping $500,000 to ANYONE that could return the dogs safely, no questions asked.
Now this got me thinking.
People go to insane lengths if someone takes away the things they love.
Let me give you an example from my industry.
I’ve got clients at the moment, who before they saw the light and joined SOS, had tried other personal trainers or online coaches.
These coaches told them things like…
“You’re gonna have to avoid any type of night out or event you’ve got planned while we work together”.
“If we’re gonna see results we’re gonna really dial back the carbs, that means no bread, no pasta, and no potatoes”
“Get rid of all the alcohol in your house for the next 6-8 weeks, we don’t want any distractions”.
What do you think happened when my clients were told they COULDN’T have certain things?
They get starving bloody hungry, and on the evenings or weekends they would binge like crazy.
They’d be eating full pizzas, burgers, or 14 slices of toast.
Then they wonder why they got no results…
And why they’re stuck in the vicious cycle of training and binge eating.
The thing is, when you’re in that cycle it’s hard to get out of it.
I know because I’ve been there myself — and I’ve dealt with hundreds of people in the same situation.
But there’s always a way to break those habits.
Firstly, you need to get rid of whatever coach is telling you not to eat or drink your favourite things…
Secondly, surround yourself with people who live the way you want to live.
And thirdly, join us at SOS,
Just like the hundreds of other people who did right here.
Remember If you’re stuck in that circle of training and binge eating right now…
Please reach out to me ASAP and ask me any questions at all, I’d love to help.
Speak soon,
Sam.
P.S.
If you’re one of those people who reads stories and only cares about what happens to the dogs…
They’re safe and sound, and some lady is now $500,000 better off for handing them in.
Oh, and the dog walker is fine too.
